On June 10th, at the Toyota of Santa Fe Tent Sale and Electronics Recycling Event, 10,380 lbs of recyclables were dropped off to be safely recycled. New Mexico Computer Recyclers has an on-site state of the art hard drive shredder, the HSM 230, which provides thorough hard drive platter destruction, leaving absolutely no possibility of platter data recovery, as the platter is shredded into a salt like substance.  This is the only electronic recycler in the state using this technology.

Our Director, Ashley Armijo, was live with Hutton Broadcasting, 98.1 KBAC Radio Santa Fe during the event. At the end of the day, Toyota of Santa Fe donated 10 cents per pound of electronics to NMCTR equaling $1,038, and New Mexico Computer Recyclers matched that!
