Civitan

November 8, 2016 –

Civitan International is an organization of volunteer service clubs around the world, dedicated to helping people in their own communities. Civitans help wherever the need arises – from collecting food for a homeless shelter, to volunteering at their local retirement home, to building a playground for children with disabilities. Civitans have been helping people since the organization’s founding in 1917, by a group of businessmen determined to make a difference in their community.

The Santa Fe Civitans volunteered over 6 hours of their time on October 15th, 2016 for a NMCTR Work Day. The Santa Fe Civitans refurbished the handicap ramp, cleaned tack, sanded and painted lesson props, and even pulled weeds. The Santa Fe Civitans worked all day and accomplished so much! Not only do the Civitans donate their time, they financially contribute to NMCTR! Amazing organizations like The Santa Fe Civitans make it possible for NMCTR to truly fulfill the mission of “Changing Lives One Stride at a Time!”

Thank You Santa Fe Civitans!
