NMCTR was given a wonderful opportunity from The Onota Foundation to receive a $17,000 grant IF NMCTR could raise additional funds to match the grant! The Onota Foundation believes that the most pressing need for humanity today is to rediscover its place in nature and to live in balance with its natural surroundings. The Foundation supports the natural environment, sustainable agriculture, preventative medicine, and education programs to foster 1) creativity and open-mindedness through the arts, 2) respect for the interrelatedness and interdependence of all beings on Earth, 3) individual and collective responsibility for leaving the world a better place for future generations.

NMCTR did it and was able to raise over $30,000 in a little over three months. NMCTR’s efforts plus the Matching Grant totaled over $47,000 received!  Not only did NMCTR receive donations big and small, but NMCTR added new volunteers to the team and created new relationships that will help the growth in the future!

Thank you to everyone that donated and NMCTR looks forward to 2020. NMCTR plans on using these funds to reduce our waiting lists, increase our horse herd, hire more staff, and find our forever home. Thank you for our generous support!
