New Mexico Center for Therapeutic Riding and Cloud Dancers Therapeutic Horsemanship both attend the 30th Annual Watermelon Mountain Pony Club (WMPC) Horse Trials. WMPC has held a special class for individuals with special needs to compete and show off all of their abilities for 3 years now. The riders from the therapeutic riding program were able to show the horse community all their accomplishments and really show off all their abilities. The riders did a dressage test to the best of his or her ability as some rode independently, some trotted, some worked on steering. All the riders did wonderful and received a beautiful hand-made plaque (donated by: Susan Whitely)! Congratulations to all the riders!
