The New Mexico Center for Therapeutic Riding hosted the 8th Annual Golf Tournament: Stay and Play fundraising event!
Saturday August 7th, NMCTR’s Board hosted a Happy Hour at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort. It was wonderful to see all of NMCTR’s supporters come together to support a great cause. Hyatt Regency Tamya Resort also offered our golfers a special weekend rate to enjoy the pool after a round of golf and all the other wonderful amenties that are onsite.
The Golf Tournament was held Sunday, August 8th at Cochiti Golf Club. The golf game included an 18-hole tournament that was a best ball scramble game, a wonderful awards banquet and lunch, several hole-in-one prizes, men and women longest drive contests, straightest drive contests, and much much more! The mulligan tickets purchased to get a free golf swing were entered in a raffle and the winners of the raffle won a variety of prizes. The day had beautiful weather, competitive golfers, and a lot of fun.
New to 2021, we have a winning trophy in honor of our founder, Don Miller. Each year’s winners will have their name engraved on the trophy. This year tournament winners were: Cindy Arguello, Rick Leyba, David Jones, and Eric Trujillo!
